Thinkin About Using Paypal? Just Say No!
Well, it’s happened to me again. Paypal has limited another one of my accounts without giving me an honest reason. They limited my first account account about 1 year from the date of this post. If you’re an internet marketer and are thinking about using Paypal as your preferred processor to accept online payments, you may want to reconsider because they can limit your account without giving you any reason whatsoever. In my case, someone purchased one my digital products which they received without complaint. The digital product had master resellers rights so it could be sold over and over again. This is a VERY common practice on the internet. Just go to Ebay and you’ll see many products of this nature being sold over and over again.
Be very cautious when setting up a Paypal account to accept payments. They can limit your account and you won’t have access to your money for 6 months which is ridiculous. What makes matters worse is that any verified bank accounts, Credit Cards or Debit Cards that are linked to a Paypal account with limited access, can not be used to set up another Paypal account or to make any online purchases using Paypal. This is silly because they are actually losing money. I can no longer make any purchase using Paypal. I’d have to get a new Debit Card or Credit Card, but that is simply a waste of my time and money. I can now say that I have washed my hands with Paypal. Don’t do as I did by going through the process of buying digital products to resell, setting them up to be resold with your Paypal buttons, uploading them to your hosting account and then setting up an affiliate system. You can do this if you’d like, but I would not support Paypal by using them as my Preferred Payment processor.
I prefer Alertpay now anyway. They’re just like Paypal, but they won’t give you any headaches as Paypal has done to MANY people online. I’m one of the lucky ones though. I didn’t have much money in my account to complain about, but I’ve known people who accounts were limited with 1000’s of dollars! Imagine having $5000 in an account, but you couldn’t get access to it for 6 months.
Search around on the internet and you’ll be surprised by some of the stories you hear on this subject.
